RecordGetting started
- Install RecordAI from Adobe Exchange (the Creative Cloud Marketplace), then open it in Photoshop under Plugins → RecordAI. RecordAI needs Photoshop 2026 (version 27) or later.
- Create a batch on the Batch tab: one batch per job, with the batch name, the digital retoucher and, if you like, the client or project.
- Document each image on the This image tab. Tick what AI did: Technical AI, AI Masking, AI Retouching or Generative AI, or mark the image as No AI. Generative AI asks what was changed. A profile fills in your usual treatments with one click.
- Check the transparency assessment. With Auto on, RecordAI suggests it from the treatments: Disclosure indicated, Review required or No disclosure indicated. Untick Auto to choose it yourself.
- Generate the report on the Report tab: choose the batch and click Generate Report. If something is unresolved, RecordAI shows it first.
The batch follows the image
When you switch image in Photoshop, RecordAI switches to the batch the image is registered in. To use another batch for the active image, choose it on the Batch tab and click OK.
Plans and licence
The License tab shows your plan and how many reports you have generated this month. From there you can upgrade, change plan, manage your subscription (card, invoices, cancellation) and see your licence key.
To use RecordAI on another computer, open License there and enter your licence key, which you received by e-mail. Your plan covers a number of computers; activating it on one more moves it from the computer used least recently.
Common questions
I lost my licence key
On the License tab, under Lost your licence key?, enter the e-mail address you used for the purchase. We send the key there.
Does RecordAI upload my images?
No. Images, file names and batches stay on your computer. RecordAI only contacts our licence server with your licence key to check your plan. See the privacy policy.
Does RecordAI work offline?
Yes. Documentation and reports work offline. A paid plan is renewed online about once a day and keeps working offline until the end of the paid period plus a few days.
I have reached the limit of images or reports
RecordAI Free allows 10 images per report and 2 reports per month; RecordAI Pro 150 images per report and 50 reports per month. The report allowance resets on the 1st of each month. Upgrade on the License tab, or create a new batch for more images.
How do I cancel?
On the License tab, click Manage Subscription and cancel in the page that opens. Your plan runs until the end of the paid month; after that RecordAI continues as RecordAI Free and all your batches are kept.
Is the transparency assessment legal advice?
No. RecordAI records the documentation you enter. It does not analyse images or give legal advice.
